Considering moving to GPLv3
We as a team, are considering moving our mods from the current GPLv2 license to GPLv3 (and from LGPLv2.1 to LGPLv3 for those mods that use the LesserGPL license). This thread is a request for comments (RFC) from anyone possibly affected by this change.
For the end-user this should be a non-issue, the only people affected by this change would be those that actually use the code in Auctioneer and Gatherer in other mods. However, since we are a community, we would like to hear from you before making this change.
This thread will stay open (and moderated) until we make our determination. Post facts, not flames.
Edit: Following are some relevant links for your perusal.

Scheduled Maintenance
The time has come for us to complete our move from our current server to the two new servers we acquired just over a month ago. This move will be happening during the weekend of November 24/25th, 2007. Unfortunately this will result in some, hopefully limited, downtime for services and sites hosted on our servers. We have been setting up for this migration during the past month. While we don't have any specific timelines for when the downtime will start and end for each specific site - we are aiming to minimize any downtime that may be experienced.
Affected Sites
norganna.org - including our forums, Wiki and Localizer
esamynn.org
gathereraddon.com
auctioneeraddon.com
pastey.net
wowwatcher.com
other miscellaneous websites hosted on the same server
Note that SVN, FishEye and JIRA have already been migrated and should not suffer interruptions.
We thank you for your interest in our projects, and hope to see you back here soon.

Recruiting drive
We are actively looking for more Developers, Usability Designers, Technical Writers and QA Engineers for many of our projects.
We're a reasonably large open-source project that is growing all the time. We have our own server farm and we treat our team with respect regardless of your level of ability or time constraints, letting you determine your own pace, supporting you with any questions you have or help you need, only providing a very light hand in development direction (which we're always willing to discuss.)
If you're currently in the job market, working on an open source project does actually look pretty good on your resume as well. It gives you real world experience working in teams, working with modern project management tools and it gives you something to talk about at your job interview!
If you're interested, please talk to an op in the IRC channel if you're reading this and are thinking about working on a large-scale opensource project!

The Gatherer SVN repository has been rearranged.
In order to make managing the various subversion repositories Norganna's AddOns host and to make room for future Gatherer related AddOns and modules, Gatherer's files have been moved out of the trunk folder into a new trunk/Gatherer folder.
If you are currently tracking the SVN version of Gatherer, you may well notice that the files move the next time you do an update.

Jira now available for Norganna's AddOns
We are pleased to announce that Jira is now available for Norganna's AddOns at: http://jira.norganna.org/
Jira is a web-based tool which provides "Bug Tracking, Issue Tracking, & Project Management". It allows end-users and developers to create, search and monitor bug reports and bug fixes. More information about the generic product can be found here.
Jira replaces the rest of the functionality previously provided by Trac that is not available in Fisheye. In particular, it is the place you will go to view the "roadmap" of upcoming releases and to report bugs with any of our AddOns or their libraries.
Trac is now set to read-only mode and will soon disappear completely. No new tickets will be created in Trac, these should now be created as Jira issues. All existing tickets have been copied over from Trac into Jira.
So go ahead, go to http://jira.norganna.org/ and look around Jira and its features. Enjoy!
